Liverpool Rubber Company in England creates sand shoes, which are considered by many to be the first sneakers. The shoes are canvas with rubber soles and are initially worn at beaches. They are later renamed plimsolls. players begin wearing rubber-soled shoes. As recreational sports become increasingly popular, demand grows for appropriate footwear.

The word sneakers then came in from the united state of America which they where earlier describe as Tennis shoes but then call sneakers base on how quite the soles are, this enables people wearing them to sneak up on people, the word sneakers started, and history on sneakers was made, we have Nike, addidas, Puma, New balance and host of others

Adi and Rudi Dassler are brothers who own one sneaker company, but later a rivalry came in and the two split their company. Rudi Dassler creates Ruda, which is later renamed Puma. Adi Dassler’s business later becomes Adidas this was in the year 1948

Later the di Dassler introduces the three-stripe logo for Adidas which is very Iconic till Date.

in 1984 American basketball player Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls signs an endorsement contract with Nike and begins wearing the company’s shoes. Their partnership will make both Jordan and Nike international icons. its safe to say Michael Jordan makes the Nike Brand what it is  today
